I've been dic*ing with this woodruff key trying to get it installed on the crank and I'm having zero luck. I checked the pn and its the correct key, but it seems too wide. I don't want to mangle it... I had to order it online. What can I do? It's an issue that is so small it's comical.

Did something need to be modified on the key?

I threw it into the freezer and the next day it went into place with little force at all.
Now, I'm working on de-rusting the inside of my fuel tank.

Mocked up all I needed to inside. Now it's in the garage and I'm torqueing down as I go... Should be able to finish completion quickly.

Thanks odypilots!

I was able to install the motor, belt, exhaust (partial), Mossbarger intake, and Mikuni 32 "flat-side".
Plus, I was able to complete my wireing finally. I started on soda blasting my fuel tank, but did not complete it. (ran out of soda...)
Here are some pics...

HELP...

I want to adjust my Works Shocks because they are too stiff and would like to do it myself if possible...
They are the "C-Clip" design that rides in a groove, (not threaded). Any pointers or instructions on how
to succefully adjust them withought damaging the springs?
