Best Dune Set Up ??
« on: August 16, 2012, 11:33:51 PM »
I have a FL350 that I want to turn into the ultimate dune vehicle. I ride primarily at Glamis 8-10 times a year. I already have a water cooled head and works shocks. I have the right sand tires on all 4 corners. I need more power to climb the sand dunes. If I were to get a good dune port job and the right clutch set up. How much horse power can I put to the ground?

Porting, DG Pipe, 39 PWK with intake to fit and V-Force 3 reeds, you should pull 65-70HP.

What clutch set up would you recommend for this set up in the sand?

My machine has a 102C with a Heel Clicker kit. It makes the clutch more sensitive to the variations in traction as you go from sand with varying amounts of moisture in it.
