There are a lot of ideas about global warming but one thing that is easy to test for yourself...pavement.  We have a lot more pavement than we did 10, 20, 30 years ago...go stand in the middle of paved parking lot on a bright sunny day...huge heat radiating back at you....now go walk out into a field with no pavement...5 plus degrees difference...Put trees in parking lots, would shoot to heck the greenies and their global warming BS...

I would agree that it is hotter standing on cement than standing under a tree. What is the net average temperature increase in a cube surrounding a tree versus the same size cube over cement? How about averaged for an entire 24 hour period? It is pretty cold standing in the middle of a parking lot at night. When some of the light energy instead of being converted to heat energy on the cement is converted to chemical energy (photosynthesis) which in turn stores that energy as hydrocarbons in the tree. Latter that tree dies, rots and releases heat energy, what was the net difference in temperature in the same cube of area over the entire life and death of that tree?

The climate alarmists are constantly taking pieces of information out of context. They try to make a conclusion based on only a few pieces of information. Their models do not and cannot possibly include all the factors. Their predictions are proved wrong, then they come up with new models to try to explain what happened then come up with new 'the world is going to end' predictions.

Mid-west has had a dry hot summer...seems like we are a month ahead with weather trends.  July was hot and dry, which is normally a Aug trend...now Aug has been cooler, especially at night, more like a Sept trend...if my theory is correct, we'll have an early frost and heavy snow fall this winter...

Anyone check the Farmer's Alaminac?  They say that is better at predicting weather trends over the "experts".
