Went ahead and ran some prelimb number for CCR ( corrected compression ratio) stock is 6.2 to 1 and right now Stixs engine looks to be around 6.6 to 1. The blow down timing is right around 30 degrees ( 120-90=30). The exhaust opens at 90 and transfer at 120. which means his is bone stock. The mean line for the exhaust port area is at 45 degrees. 180-ex open 90/2-45 degrees

I had a talk with stixs this morning about his engine. We discused what changes he would like. He told me he decided to upgrade his exhaust with a clutch in his future.  After throwing out ideas back and forth He decided to change port time and areas.
WE talked about raising the exhaust port and increase its area as well for the new AAML. We also decided to leave the transfer open alone to increase blow down time for the pipe. This should give a little more over rev and a stronger mid range. We also decided to add area to the intake and leave intake timing alone. I will need to rework his head for the new CCR and get it back to were it will need to be for the pipe.

I do like the teaching technique here, Its works the brain to try to follow each step without having those pesky descriptions, lol., most I recognize and some ?? Is this a stub installation tool. I spoke too soon and saw more descriptions in the latter posts. I gues the ones WO descriptions should be easy enough to follow.
