im new to this website im looking to purchase a fl250 for a project how fast do they go stock?

well loll 80km/h is fast a nuff for a buggy with no back suspension unless you are trying to kill your self or tear apart the rear end if you want to go bigger 340cc it a nuff plus remove the cover over the cylinders,head for more air to go on engine head and cylinder wall  lots of modification or liquide cool engine more modifications..!!! :shock:

so just keep it stock is there any thing to look for when i go to look at it

hi it is up to you to see if all is in working order and it is the same kind of engine as a 250cc cr motorcross so every 2 stroke engine will need rebuilt wen buying or in the year coming..! i seen somme for 2000$ even more fo r a complete honda odyssey fl250 from 1981 to 84 :lol:

well i can`t say NO..!! they are for 16 years of age and over in canada cause i am canadien, There is no shocks in the back so it is a ruff drive and yes iit can be very easy to flip on its side thats wy honda change to full roll cage in 1981 and you got to make chure you have your 2 hands on the stearing wen it flips you can break and arm,hand.fingers very easy..!!  :idea:

ther is no wrist restraints on them you will have to make somme home made and yes i trust there seat belts ..!
