Removing the stock clutch on a 350?
« on: December 13, 2009, 12:42:20 AM »
I hear a clicking sound in the area around the clutch at idle.  As soon as the clutch starts to engage the clicking sound goes away.  I assume something inside the clutch is broke but can not figure out how to remove the clutch to inspect it.  Is there a special tool needed?  How can I get it to slide off without hitting the frame?

Nothing is broke in your clutch. My clutch does that too, its just a thing that the stock clutches do. If you really dont want to keep hearing it when it idles then i would put a comet clutch on it.
