Looks good but please explain how a 250 cc bored .060 over stock equals 280cc?  I know in cars say a 350 chevy bored .030 over stock equals a 355 cid and a .060 over equals a 360 cid.

So I can't see how  a 250cc bored .060 over can give that much more displacement.?

where did I get lost

but the site looks good I will send pics of mine to you when my camera gets back, lent it to a friend who is taking pictures of a WET BIKE he wants to sell

It doesn't matter any more because I didn't end up using that cylinder. But I forget the math that was done. You have to remember that you are comparing cubic inches to cubic centimeters.

stock fl250 is a 70 mm bore and a 64.4 mm stroke. So using the formula for a cylinder (pi x r^2 x h = cc), if you increase the bore to 71.5mm (each .020"=.5mm) the volume of the cylinder becomes 258.575. That isn't quite 280cc. To get to 280 cc you'd have to take the cylinder out to 74.5mm, which isn't possible since the largest piston available for the 250 is a 72mm.

I'm glad you found the links to my site so useful.

Since he has never mentioned case mods I kinda figured that the engine wasn't stroked.
