Hey-thanks for the replies guys. btw, I have an FL250 ('81 or '82), not a 350. The Comet 94C will still work, I believe. Thing is, I'm not sure what type of clutch I have on there right now. It could be aftermarket, but I'm not sure.
The issue I'm concerned about with the 94C clutch is RPM engagement. Is it suitable for slow take-offs/putting around as well, or will increased belt wear ensue? I mean, you don't take off at full throttle all the time, right? I'm not sure what RPM engagement I have right now. I do know that my belts fail within 1-2 hours of use, which is very abnormal.
The drive pulley that is on the engine right now doesn't have the hemispherical cap covering the internals like the one I saw in the Clymer manual that I have. Does this mean that it's possibly an aftermarket one? I could post pics if that helps to identify it.
Also, if I order a new drive pulley, I was thinking that I might as well order a new drive pulley/parts as well. Does this seem reasonable?
