Foot tub repair
« on: May 15, 2006, 01:22:09 PM »
I did an el' cheapo foot tub repair this weekend on the 420/350. It had a big hunk missing and was cracked to heck when I got it. I tied to plastic weld it but it re-cracked along the welds, probably due to the large piece missing allowing it to flex alot. Any way, before buying a new one for several hundred or a Ebay used one for $150 and up, I am experimenting with a $4 trash can. I have not rode with it yet but appears to be fairly strong, and has to be better than a gapping hole.
