Hey Ludedude, sorry I dropped this in the normal forum, meant to put it in the new test area.

Details for you, Dennis----You are right, those are not my sleds. They belong to a guy I work with. He is into jetskis and sleds but has never ridden in sand. I am taking him on dune trips in trade for sled and jetski trips. That is only my 2nd trip and it is very addictive. Everyone doesn't believe me that I am a beginer becuase I can climb or jump anything out there, must be from riding everything from bikes, trikes, quads, buggies, ect. The tall slopes are alot like dunes. I have been mostly riding the blue 2003 Yamaha Max 700 deep snow special. Its a triple engine, race ported, triple race piped, small cc domes, V-force 3s, extra deep paddles, yada, yada yada,(very fast!).  It will hit 80MPH in a wink of an eye.  Feels like a crotch rocket excellerating. The other is bone stock new 1000CC Skidoo EFI, sounds like a V-8 or Harley(very deep).

Most peaks are 12, 500 ft., I can't imagine the power these thing produce at a low elevation. We are riding in the snowy mountian range south of Laramie wy and I am only 15-20 miles or so from the Walden dunes in Colorado. My friend know the local sled dealers very well so we stopped by for a talk. I can get a good engine from a wrecked sled cheap(300-600) depending on what I want. Sounds like the a-arm machine will not be short on power this summer!

Here are some more picture for you.
