Sediment Bowl
« on: February 24, 2006, 07:53:11 AM »
I installed a cylinder tank on my oddy and i was wondering what happens when the tank gets low and u are on a hill so the gas slides to one side.  I was thinking of putting a sediment bowl right below the tank to act as a resevoir of gas if i have to go on an angle for a second and as a filter.  Has any one done this and if not do u think its will work???

FL350 fuel reserve

This is how I did my fuel system.  The second glass filter in the picture acts as a reserve and it is nice to visually see the fuel to rule out related problems when diagnosing.

thanks for the reply but my problem is a bit different since ur using a stock tank it tends to build up in the bottom more and on mine it can easily slide to one side...but anyway i put the sediment bowl on and waiting for the carb now ...i'll post some pics once its all together...
