interchange or what else will fit

i am new to the board and odysseys i was wondering if anybody could tell me what will fit my fl250 so i can run bigger tires and also how to limit the speed on the one i am building for my daughter any info would be appreciated thank-you

The easiest way I know to limit the speed is to put a spacer of somekind on top of the carb to keep the slide from coming all the way up. A small piece of tubing around the cable on top of the slide will work nicely.

One option is to take apart the steering yoke and add a wire ring terminal, (the kind you would use to crimp on the end of a small wire and place over a bolt for a connection), place it around the srew that holds the throttle lever and spring.  This will force the end of the wire terminal to hit the back side of the steering yoke when pressed.  It will keep the lever from being depressed to full throttle, you can adjust where it hits.
