Cool, pics Vic ;)

On the cylinder ones....are they just dirty in the cylinder?....that's not pitting is it? The head, was that worked on by PCP? What coimpression did you end up at?

Thank you!!!

No, bud, no pitting! (thankfully) The whole thing was dirty when I sent it.

The head was a new one that I sent over to PCP based upon the recommendation of Moskito. I am very pleased with the results. By the way, Bore-Tech was his suggestion as well. I am equally pleased with their work also.

My final compression was/is 170psi. Beats the heck out of the 195psi head that was on there when I bought the thing! I'm not INTO all of that racing fuel thing, but more INTO reliability.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left!

Yep! Skeeter told me to go 165 for 93 octane pump fuel, but she taps the dial at 170. I'm in eternal bliss with the way she's performing. She's got lots and lots of oomph! (I hope she stays this way for a long, long time!) The only bummer I have now is when I'm at WOT, I hit the rev limiter and she won't go faster! Hmmm...I wonder what happens if I get one of those modified rev limiter CDI boxes??? Nah! I better leave well enough alone!

Bill? Details please!!! :D

Do you have a rigged CDI box? If so, at what RPM did the stocker cut out versus what you've programmed INTO the Digatron? What is the highest RPM that you can rev the engine to before it becomes a dangerous over-rev?

Hehe...got your attention eh?!

http://12.215.127.130/home.htm hosers page...down a ways...Bill's contact info...$75.00

I have both CDI's....should send the stock to bill to get that one changed too....

Stock rev is set to 7800 I think...forget for sure...it's on the old site...

I have a spreadsheet on RPM's for the Pilot....I forget the numbers, it's the piston speed that's the limiting factor as to how high you should rev..(I have 4000 ft/sec) but it's midnight and I may be way off..that translates to ~ 8000-8200 rpm for the pilot I think....I'll see if I can find that info back and post it.
