General Discussion / Mini Baja
« on: September 01, 2005, 04:49:25 PM »
I am in need of a bent or broke axle from a fl250 for our university's Mini Baja rail. I only need the axle not the gearbox.   As long as the splines that go into the gearbox are fine and 4-6 inches on each side of it as well.  I am on a limited budget due to SAE regulations so the cheaper the better.  If anyone can donate one I will cover shipping and the burden of getting it to a shipping company.

Thanks guys,  Curtis Wiedmaier

Odyssey FL350R / Something to think about Lude
« on: July 17, 2005, 12:20:32 PM »
Just a thought Lude but would you consider making brakelines for the FL350.  I am tired of having spongy brakes.  I am certain that I am not the only one that will be interested.

Odyssey FL350R / Fl350 Water cooled project test
« on: July 03, 2005, 07:47:29 PM »
Finally got her finished today and tested for about 10 minutes.  All is good or so it seems.  Drastic improvement in performance with my new head I built.  I have not wired the pump and fan into the harness yet i just wired to the battery for now just to make sure pump and fan worked correctly.  Pulls hard thoughout the powerband.  It wont do a wheel stand with me in it yet it might with the girlfriend( she weighs about 1/2 of what I do)  It feels like the clutch slips, it is a newly rebuilt 102c with B1 weights and silver spring and in the ten minutes of testing I basicly shreaded a new belt        So if anyone can tell me if a Pilot belt will work, I would like to try the 4X4 tuff belt but don't know if it is the right length or width.

Technical / fl350 superhead
« on: February 26, 2005, 07:32:15 PM »
Just to let you know lude that I tested the watercooled head I built.  I didn't ride it I just let it warmup enough to check my compression.  My head to piston clearance is .050 in.  and my calculations came up with somewhere between 3-5ccs less than the stock head.  My compression increased somewhere around 15-17 psi after three attemps.  I am happy so far maybe I can ride in a week or two.  I still have to install the radiator w/fan and water pump.
