Odyssey FL250 / Re: FL250 Assembly Thread
« on: September 08, 2013, 01:15:19 AM »
The "rubber intake tube" from the intake (motor side) connects to the carburetor and the "rubber connector tube" connects the carburetor to the air cleaner base. Hose clamps were used to secure both. Note: The "rubber connector tube" used is from NAPA. The stock FL250 rubber connector tube will not fit this aftermarket carburetor.

I used something similar to a "tee". What was used is a HONDA "check valve", same as they came with originally.

Serial Numbers:

Model / Engine / Frame / Carburetor

FL250 ('77) / FL250E = 1000001 - 1021600 / FL250 = 1000001 - 1011921 / 092B (A)
FL250 ('78) / FL250E = 1021601 - 1024758 / FL250 = 1100001 - 1112345 / 092B (A)
FL250 ('79) / FL250E = 2000001 - 2012620 / FL250 = 2000001 - 2012620 / 092B (A)
FL250 ('80) / TBO4E = 2000001 - 2006341 / TBO4O = 2000001 - 2006315 / 092B (A)
FL250 ('81) / TBO4E = 2400001 - 2406819 / TBO4O = BC400001 - BC406324 / 092B (A)
FL250 ('82) / TBO4E = 2500001 - 2513931 / TBO4O = CC500001 - CC514700 / 092B (A)
FL250 ('83) / TB04E = 2600001 - 2617490 / TBO4O = DC600001 - DC617555 / 092B (A)
FL250 ('84) / TB04E = 2700001 - 2703750 / TBO4O = EC700051 - EC703225 / 092B (A)

Note: The frame serial number is stamped on the top of the frame at the left-hand rear corner. The engine serial number is located on the rear platform of the crankcase by the mounting bolt.

icouldusesomehelp,

Honda Odyssey Fl250's only had two "generations". Yellow (half roll cage) 1977-1980 and Red (full roll cage) 1981-1984. Neither came equipped with rear suspension. There were companies that made aftermarket parts that included rear suspensions and accessories for these models though.

I would like to see more images, maybe with the glass off.

Wanted: / Challenger FL250 WANTED
« on: July 30, 2013, 01:04:29 AM »
I am looking for a Challenger FL250 chassis/frame in any condition or Challenger FL250 body in any condition.
I also need measurements until I can locate one for sale.

Challenger Products Inc. was based in National City, California and produced performance components for Honda Odyssey FL250 and FL350 models along with their own chassis.

Any help would be great.

General Discussion / Motor Conversion
« on: July 13, 2009, 05:56:34 PM »
I have a spare FL250 frame that I want to build into a fun ride.
If I wanted to install or attempt to install a motor that I could buy off the shelf...what motor would it need to be?
I don't want to build a FL250 motor for this one I just want to buy something that would work and be reliable and produce power.

Thanks.

I was looking at BikeBandit.com...
I guess the best thing to do is just start ordering oem parts...

This thing is going back as original as I can get it minus the electric start.
