Title: secondary clutch stuck open

whats a good lube for a secondary clutch?  damn thing is stuck open

Comet clutch lube is a good lobe, but I think you have a bigger problem than lack of lube.

Can you get us a picture of the problemed unit? it may have missing sliders

yeah i really havent even looked at it yet, all i know is its stuck open.  ill check it out tomorrow and get back

ok, the sliders and spring appear to be in good condtion, i think the shaft is just a little rusty

well the clutch seems to be getting a little better everyday with a little drymoly lube and a little light persuading

good to hear, so it was only a little rusty from sitting?

yeah well ive had it for about 6 months without running and who knows how long the guy i got it from had it, but it seems ok now.  this odyssey has a water cooled head, dg pipe, 102c clutch, counterbalance breather mod.  think its time for a dual intake.
