does any one know of a way to replace the ball joints on the J-arms or where to get new ones. thought about going to a machine shop to have old joint drilled out ,if at all possible.

I built a fixture for doing just that. It uses the same ball joints as used in my A-arm conversion. After making the jig, I decided it was too much effort, therefore too expensive vs. just getting used arms. Now used arms with good ball joints are getting rare and may start doing it again.
