Title: carb jetting
Post by: geetee150 on October 24, 2010, 08:48:39 AM
I'll bet my last dollar that many of you know what the stock jetting is on a stock fl 350,right?
Well I don't,so.........?
Seriously though,I changed to K+N cone filter and it seems to miss on the top end a bit.
I'll also bet that some of you great helpers can tell me where I can get a rebuild kit and jets.I realize that there can be many other things going on here, but it is a mod that I'd like to start with as well a pipe in the future.

 Thanks all involved,Greg

The manual lists a 142 main jet, #3BC in the 3rd groove needle, and the air screw 1 1/2 turns out. No mention of the pilot jet that I found.

I don't know about a rebuild kit, but you can get main jets at most motorcycle shops.

There is no rebuild kit available for the stock carb. Many of the parts in the PWK kit on the Aftershock Motorsports FL350 engine section will fit in the stock carb. I would suggest starting with a 148 main jet and raise the needle by lowering the clip one slot. Changing the slow jet to a 45 will improve throttle response.
