Title: Honda Odyssey ATV
Post by: LiveWire on September 28, 2010, 04:49:51 PM
I have never really thought of the Odyssey as an ATV but I believe many others do. My reason for not may be influenced by that to the state of Michigan, an ATV is ridden on, not in. Really though, All Terrain Vehicle would still apply from a definition point of view.

I think of the Odyssey as a minivan. ;D

I knew you'd love it!

At least it can be agreed upon what became of the Odyssey name. I'm sure owners of the new Pilot still can't agree what it is. I vote minivan and will allow it to be called a cross over. SUV it is not.

I vote minivan for the on road Pilot as well. I have a Chevy Traverse and I can't stand it when the guys on the forums would call it a truck or an SUV. To me it's just a beefed up minivan. The Traverse doesn't even have the SUV type styling the Acadia has. As you say, cross over could be used. Oh well, a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.  No baiting you, is there?

And now that I'm done with my mini-rant, I DO think of a FL350 as an ATV,  even though I imagine it's more of an OHV, Off Highway Vehicle. The State of Michigan's width classifications lead me to that conclusion.

This poll sure has not gone anywhere.

I had not looked at this in a while, got a few votes now. When someone votes, it does not indicate changes to the thread.
