Pilot FL400R / new toy, any suggestions?

drove five hours out and back from 1pm to 1am  to get an 89 pilot,  completely stock, except the guy had the engine completely rebuilt and bored .20 over..  landed it for 3200 ;D.  any suggestions for mods?  i want to get as much torque and throttle response as i can get..  I'm riding trails in the northeast, so i don't need a really high top speed, but i wanna get up to top speed as fast as possible. 


any disc brake conversion possibilities?

does anyone make stock front a-arms for the pilot with replaceable/adjustable ball-joints?

Odyssey FL350R / front disc brake conversion possibilities?

wondering if theres any way to convert the front end on my fl350r.  i read somewhere(in this forum i think) that the trx250r sindles will mount on, but dont give suficient stopping power because the odyssey is pretty much twice the wieght.  what about spindles from a heavier quad?  ive heard stories about people who mounted spindles with disc brakes from cars and just ran the rims from the car(im assuming something with like 12 or 13 inch rims like an old hyundai or something) with four wheeler tires mounted on them.  is this a possibility?  has anyone else heard of this?  if not, is it plausable?  any feedback is appreciated.  thanks!

Odyssey FL350R / newbie tire question

  if i put 24 inch front tires on my FL350R(stock front end), will it improve the handling or ability to take hard bumps at all? im mainly doing it to be able to hop logs easier.

Odyssey FL350R / engine mod question, 85FL350R

so i just recently got an 85 FL350R about a week ago, maybe.  runs great, but i wanna do mods to it for trail riding.  ive been reading on a few forums about some bolt on mods. mine already has works shocks on the rear so i want to do something to the engine and eventually get a bolt on a-arm style suspension for the front.
   my questions:
1.  if i get an oversized carb for it, what other mods would i have to do to "compliment/accomodate" that? (liquid cooled head, more airflow into the airbox, pipe, ...)

2.  can i run a trx250r 34mm or an older cr250 carb(not the 38mm, but the 36mm i think it is)? if not what should i run?

3.  i heard somewhere that the comet 94c clutch engages at a lower rpm, is this true? i  if so does the comet 102c also engage at a lower rpm?
