I am sorry to hear of your illness-perhaps we can help you, what do your father and brother in law need for purchases of these items you have listed by chance? Mabye there is a member here that could possible use the truck, trailer, etc for there own usage. ??
Can we send email to them-It can't hurt to see if a friend, family member knows anybody that may in the market for your items-
just a thought---hope I am not insulting anybody here-It is not my intent.Just thinking out loud---

None of the businesses are willing to take the vehicles back, they say it's now between the finance companies and me, called the banks, and they say it's the companies who need to deal with it, they aren't set up to take returns. Legal advice has advised us there is little we can do legally and recommends us to sell them off and accept the losses.

The truck and trailer dealers are supposed to get back to me in a couple days with prices with what they feel they could sell them for if they were to take them and sell them for us.

The truck is a silver 2008 Ford F-150 5.4Liter SuperCrew 4x4 with tow package, power/heated extendable towing mirrors. ~400kms

Trailer is a 2007 Keystone 23' toyhauler. has 5' manual real slide out (queen bed). Air conditioning, furnace, stereo, outside cook/wash setup, front toy area with double bed fold down, side fold down ramp door, 1000 lbs capacity.

New (leftover) 2006 Yamaha MT-01 V-Twin 1670cc. 90HP, 110ft-lbs torque @ 3750rpm

Located in Nova Scotia, Canada. Fly in, and drive away a package deal.

Before this latest episode I had already put us in a position financially  that required the sale of the pilots. What finally turned the light on for me was someone asked me a few questions about the bike. I had it 2 days, had put a couple hundred kms on it....they asked whether it was shaft or chain drive...I didn't know (wasn't on the bike at the time). That's just not me...I didn't even know how many cc's it was...I knew it was over 1100 .... normally I'd be able to spout off all the spec's if I was thinking about buying it. I've since been able to look back in history and remember many similar situations, but on much smaller scale. But years of it has added up. It would happen, and a day or two later I'd be left shaking my head wondering how/why I did that, and how/what I was going to do to make amends for that.

Fly in, I'll pick you up. You can camp, load up with pilot parts and head home in comfort.

Thank you, Ludedude. I have more to post would you share on how to do  so others can view or should I just post work sheets.

I use google docs application. If you create and/or upload the file you can actually work on it online, as well as share it (view and/or edit rights) with others. Free to use with a google account.

http://docs.google.com/?hl=en&tab=wo#

If it's any trouble for you, just upload the .xls file and I'll post them via google for you, no trouble ;)

General Discussion / pilot engine exchange
« on: March 26, 2008, 10:46:01 PM »
I left the transmission gearing alone, only renewed the clutch pack. The clutch pack is supposed to handle power in the 100hp range, right where the ZR600 comes in at. I used the same clutches from the ZR setup, just switched to a slightly shorter belt so I could have the engine closer to the transmission. The engine drops into factory bolt locations, only minor alterations were made (battery, and rad relocated, and ZR ECU mount)

Take a look through this thread
http://p-o-ps.com/pops1/index.php?f=516
It documents my build of a ZR600 EFL sled engine install

I am also parting out and selling all my pilot gear, you can pick up everything you need for much cheaper than it cost me to do it

I loaded Firefox and chatzilla, then went to tools and click on chatzilla. It loads me in, I looked in EFNET and IRCNET looking for minibuggy but I can't find you guys??????????

Do I need to be looking while you guys are on there?

Yeah, if no one's logged on when you try, you create the room and you control it  :P  I'm in right now and I'll stay on for awhile if you happen to get a chance to pop in.

Give me some info on the boondocker equip, I did not pay close enough attention I guess. Its a replacement controller for the 600efi?

copy and paste from write up on ZR600 kit:

Quote
Boondocker EFI controller allows for pushbutton jetting. Need to richen up your jetting, come to an idle, select the appropriate rpm range and push the up arrow, press down to remove fuel from the stock fuel map. There are 5 rpm settings (each is actually a range that overlaps the one before and after it), and each range has 3 load settings. Spend some time with it and you can rid the engine of any lean, or flat spots, you can also adjust for a lean/rich condition from PTO to MAG side cylinder. It is also a controller for adding a NOS system if you want to take it to the next level!

It allows you to add or subtract fuel over and above what the stock fuel map does at preset rpm settings (which are actually overlapping ranges).  The NOS application I don't know much about....but they're labeled as NOS controllers.

I also plumbed the NOS in, but did not hook it up. I still have a bad feeling about it.

Psss..you know the boondocker units I have are also NOS controllers   8)  Won't help for your carb'd engine...but when you get your EFI stuffed in! Well the 600EFI, if you tune it right (boondocker, hint hint) will pass Dennis without NOS  :P

General Discussion / Chat room?

If by chance you use FireFox as your browser it's quite simple. Chatzilla is an add-on for FireFox (tools>>add-ons>>get extensions  search chatzilla..add it, restart FireFox, go tools, chatzilla...it will start)

All irc  servers operate in a similar fashion. You need to connect to a server, you need to connect to a server of the same family...PilotHawk tries to keep a room open on the EFNET server...so whatever chat client you use, first determine how to connect to one of the EFNET servers....once connected you join the room....to do so enter /join #minibuggy in the same place you type to chat.

Hope that helps...I don't use Mirc anymore so I forget the specifics on that software.

Honda Pilot FL400R conversion - 600 EFI LT build up / Re: Tanks

So if I am seeing this right, your tank also serves as your hood?  HOW COOL!!!!  That should have been a "Hood"lum design if I ever saw one....

Hey! You're not the only one with good ideas :P [/u]

Agreed.

With the increased power the added weight up front is welcomed though. It's no problem to lift the front even with a full tank up front. And even though it gets lighter as it empties, it's still more weight up front than having the tank in the rear.

I've had both installed on the same machine with the same suspension, both worked fine. I think a bit better handling with the front mounted tank, but the larger 1st generation rear tank setup handled fine too.
