Need size info on 84' fl250 wheels for replacements
« on: July 10, 2014, 05:55:44 AM »
I'm happy to stay with the front 3 hole and rear 4 hole, just curious what the specs are so I can try and find billet aluminum, though the original gold wheels are nice, I'd really like something newer, or chrome. As well, any good links to replacement rims, bigger tires would be nice, size options?please pardon my ignorance, with all my questions?i'm a total newb, and not a gear head, so my mechanical knowhow and terminology is not always dead on lol :)

So know one knows anything about the fl250 hubs? Found out that the rear are 4/130…looking for what 4 lug hub will fit the fl250 front. Heard that the 86-89 honda trx 250 hubs fit the front, but need to know if they'll work on the rear as well…want to use larger 4 lug wheels on front and rear.

Only the older TRX hubs will fit the front. They have to have the same size bearings inside and out. The FL350 brake drums fit too. You can cut off the drum. The rear TRX hubs will fit.
