Poor performance

Hi, I've just bought a Pilot and it seems in reasonable shape. Only problem is it seems to lack power and has a very slight misfire. Starts and idles fine just seems weak for a 2t 400cc motor. Any ideas?

What is the compression in PSI measured with a compression gauge? Do you know how long it has been since a top end rebuild?

I'm going to get my ands on a gauge ang check the compression as soon as I get it back together. Took the carb and fuel filter off and gave them a clean up, maybe all it needs! Fingers crossed!
