Would this carb fit my stock pilot?

Alright so my brother is parting out his quad.  He said he did a little research and thinks his carb can work on my stock pilot.
39mm 2001 Yamaha yz426f carb

4 stroke carbs are setup quite a bit different. 2 strokes do not have a very strong vacuum signal.

I would say it is not worth it. You would likely have to change every aspect of the carb including the throttle valve cut away. You would likely have a lot into tuning parts by the time you got it dialed in.
