Ok so I got an 82 fl250 that the previous owner couldnt get running. It was missing the cdi and had cut wires. I found a used cdi online and followed the manuals wiring diagram and this is the problem im having now. I am not getting any spark and when I check for voltage to the wire on the coil I get nothing UNLESS I unplug the wire from the coil. Then I get voltage all day. What could cause this?
