Hey guys, well having owned my Pilot for several years now, it's time to move on - that, and it needs a bit of work that I'm not capable of carrying out myself, and I don't want to spend more on it considering I use it for maybe 2 hours a year in total.
I've spent quite a bit on it already, and was going to try to rebuild it as new, but I now live in London so have less time to use it that I expected.
The good stuff:
Brand new Works G Series rear shocks (Aug 11 - c1 hour use since)
Brand new full A Arm rebuild (Aug 11 - c1 hour use since)
Newly repainted front rims (Aug 11 - c1 hour use since)
Wiseco piston, Boysen reeds and new drive belt fitted a couple of years ago (maybe 5 hours' use since then!)
Tyres, Carb, clutch, gearbox etc all work fine.
The machine is located in Cambridgeshire, England.
The bad stuff:
Aesthetically it's not perfect! The plastics are okay, and it's all solid - it's just showing its age a bit.
It won't start. I've diagnosed this as a lack of crank case compression, given that all electrics are fine, and I can get fuel into the carb by sucking/blowing on the crank case-to-fuel-pump pipe.
I'll consider all offers, but bear in mind the Works G series cost a fortune! I can also include the original Pilot shocks + reservoirs (in case you want to rebuild them). Alternatively, I can remove the Works to sell separately. Up to you.
When the engine is fixed, it'll drive true.
