Anyone within range of Dallas that can repair fl250

I have a 1982 fl250 that was totally rebuilt. I can't get it to run properly. I can either get it to idle, but it will have no power when the throttle is pressed, or it will have some power but won't idle.

I'm wondering if there is anyone with reasonable range of Dallas that knows enough about these to get it running properly?
