Shock saver link kit?

Steve,
Have you ever considered putting together a limiting strap or a 3rd rear suspention link kit toghether,
To save the shock in case of an axle break? I'm sure it would sell, I would buy it....

A strap won't help because the wheel usually falls in not out. A hard link would cause a bind with the axle. It would have to be place perfectly, but would get out of alignment when under load.

My thoughts are to make an entire rear suspension. I put off the rear long travel when I realized it was not going to be in very high demand. Now if making aftermarket axles, I might as well make them for long travel. The design will not use the axle as a suspension link.
