jetting after airbox replacement?
« on: January 17, 2011, 06:37:15 AM »
Just got randy's( oddy Salvage ) open air filter mount.  And now I'm going to re-jet it for more fuel. How many sizes up should I start. Don't have the EGT yet. So dialling it in may take a while.

Go up 2 sizes and see what happens......
FYI,don't use the egt to set jetting....The reading is effected by so many variables, and there's a good chance it won't be accurate enough to jet by......Jet by plug chops, then see what the egt reads when jetted correctly...Use that baseline to monitor for air leaks and needed changes from temp.,altitude etc.....
