Do you have to mess with the stock carb to do this conversion.I all ready have the spun tank on but im having problems, any INFO would be helpful...

Yes you do.  

You are probably having fuel delivery issues.  The stock float shut off valve is too small and will not allow enough fuel into the bowl when delivery rate is high such as full throttle.  From what I have read, the stock fuel shut off valve is approx 1.5 and the stock carb in conjunction with a gravity feed system should use a 3.0
Try the sudco.com website for parts for the stock 32mm carb.

Most people recommend using the fuel pump with the spun fuel tank.
