Wanted - Pilot drive belt and front brake reservior.
« on: February 07, 2009, 04:14:40 PM »

Hey guys, I'm after (reasonably quickly) a drive belt, steering column bush (the one at the bottom of the column) and the right hand brake reservoir (or a seal kit) as mine leaks like the Titanic.

Also, if anyone has a 465cc conversion kit, or knows where to get one, please let me know. I've heard this lifts the front wheels from standstill!

Used is fine for the reservior, but new only on the belt and bush, please!

Thanks.

Did you look at pilot odyssey preformance or your local honda dealer. As far as lifting the wheel you can do it with mild porting ,milled head and new drive clutch on you stock bore. The bigger bore will increase torgue thu. The down side to wheelies is you cant turn. Does look cool thu.

I would bet pliot odyssey preformance can hook you up. Here a video of a stock bore using what I mentioned

Cool, I've sent him an email re: the parts, will ask him about performance stuff when I get a reply.

And DAMN that video is cool! What suspension are you running?

I'm trying to work out the damage done by the snapped belt: I've found some chewed off wires but can't figure out where they go.  Do you have a pic of the rear left (look towards the belt/battery area from the rear) of your engine bay?  I need to see what's missing from mine! :(

Thanks,
Ollie

I have a master cylinder rebuild kit to repair your leaking hand brake.  The whole unit is discontinued.

I also have belts in stock and ready to ship.

As far as the bushing I will have to order that......

I will send you an email.

Here is my site for other ideas.....

Weed and Adnoh, thanks very much guys!

I think it's just severed the wire in that case, can't see anything missing.  There's a thick plug, with a single pin in the middle though, which doesn't seem to have anything into which it can connect...

I'll try to get a picture but it won't be until I next get to the countryside (in March, I think).  I live in London but the Pilot is in the countryside on the farm.

Of course, I'll post loads of pics as and when I modify it, but it'll be a slow process unfortunately, hehe.

Ah well, at least this might teach me patience. :)  Glad I found this forum though, you seem like a very friendly and helpful bunch!

Pictures of the damage
« Reply #7 on: March 21, 2009, 09:32:40 AM »

Guys, I've just managed to get back o the countryside this weekend, so here are pics of the damage to the wiring.  When I turn on the key, no lights come on, so I think it's serious...

If anyone knows where this wire should go, please let me know! I can only find one loose end, which is annoying.

Thanks for the help. :)

Hello, Do not know if you still need this but the switch in the first pic is the park brake switch, the wires next to it I am pretty sure go to the reverse switch and the nuetral switch, both are located on the transmission.

Cool, thanks.  Looks like the switch isn't important then.

I took it for a test and it overheated and I didn't hear any fan going.  I think I must have lost the fan wire.  I think I'll just hard wire the fan to the battery with a switch or something.  Can't be bothered to re-wire the whole thing!
