Aluminum Gas Tank

I am thinking of getting the 8X24 aluminum fuel tank for my FL400 because I am tired of running out of gas. I have been told it's ok and I have been told not. Will this completely ruin my buggy's performance?

in what way would this "ruin" the pilots performace ? I have used these addon tanks with no problems .I let the tank feed the stock tank when the stock tank  runs low  :?:

I want to use it as a spare gas tank. I was told they will make the pilot roll because of the weight at the top of the buggy. The weight is distributed unevenly, not to mention it adds an extra 35 pounds or so. I jump this buggy and we ride fast so I don't want to inhibit the performance with to much weight.

I was told if I am going to use it, to drain it into the original tank as fast as possible so the tipping doesn't happen.

What do you think?

true anything added up high changes the balance lights/cooler/etc ...so you'll have to decide for youself, know your skills and make your decision  :?

I have decided to not get it. I had been holding a little jug on the side of my pilot in a little area that is equipted to hold it, I guess I will keep doing that. It only allows me to have 1.5 gallons but that will get me back to camp.

That is a bummer about adding weight. But these buggy's are fun and I wouldn't want to mess with the dinamics of how and why they were built.
