where can you get everything to rebuild a pull starter without  it costing you an arm and a leg

I have seen them new for about 150 bucks. I'll look around and see if I can find the website. You can get the best pricing on OEM stuff from www.servicehonda.com or hillside honda in california 707-263-9000. I think you can get the entire starte assembly from service honda for around $150, but you'd have to check their pricing.
