New fl350 owner needs help
« on: April 28, 2008, 03:25:53 PM »
Rode for a couple hours, rode fine, then went to banging hard, tore it apart and found 4 teeth knocked off on the gear #16 on service honda website, what I want to know is, if this is common problem or did I just get an oddball? If this is a common problem then is there a solution or am I gonna sell this thing? It is a blast to ride but I dont want to be doing a tranny every so often. Thanks Cortney

You generally don't hear of the trannies knocking teeth off the gears.  Sounds like a fairly rare happening.
Moskito - Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming \'WOW-What a Ride!\'

Yeah spoke to Weed last night, he agrees with ya, they must have been bad before and then I stayed on the gas and boom!
