Ok I don't know a whole lot about the odysseys but a friend of mine has one and has had problems with it getting fuel so we put a new gas tank on it due to corrosion of the pickup tubes in the tank. But It still doesn't run right. It starts up perfect every time but just won't hit like it should don't know if it's a rev limiter or what but after about 15 mile an hour it just doesn't wanna go any faster. It seemed to run considerably better before i changed the oil. While putting the cover back on I noticed a black wire underneath the frame. does anyone know what this wire goes to? I suspected that it was a ground but it didn't look like there was anywhere for it to go to. It comes out of the wiring harness and is only about 3 or 4 inches long. Someone HELP!!!!!!

If you went from a fuel pump system to a gravity fed into your carb some say you have to change something in the carb... I added the alum. tank and kept the fuel pump!!! It was on of the better mods now I don't worry about starving a hot motor for fuel and oil... take a picture of the wire...

Figured it out guys. It was in fact that ground wire. Took off skid plate sanded paint off frame hooked it back up and ran great. We're on our way to arkansas now. 2 hours late and 1 of the vans slung a rod so we left it on the side of the road and kept goin dang it.
