I would not want a hood
I would like a hood and this would prevent the need to replace the tub since it would mostly not be visible
I would like a hood, but that would have no effect on my desire to get a new tub

Even before getting the fenders made, I thought about someday getting matching hoods made. I never thought about it much after focusing on getting the tubs made. Since I ran into issues with the tubs, I thought maybe having a hood over the tub would clean up the look of the machine and provide a stop gap until tubs are available. Also, some people have good tubs, but are leary to buy different color fenders since the tub would not match. This may not matter to some if the hood matches.
