36 mm carb one an FL250???
« on: September 28, 2004, 05:46:44 PM »
Back to old school stuff. Has anyone had any success mounting a 36 mm carb to an FL250 engine using the stock boot or have you used something else?

Also If anyone is interested I have a few 250 and pilot parts I need to sell.

FL250:
1. stock CDI motor-runs, but could use crank bearings (I have them and they will go with the motor) $200.00 plus shipping.
2. stock exhaust, minus the spark arrestor insert(decent shape) $40.00 plus shipping
3. stock driven clutch $25.00
4. stock seat. floor pan has a few rust holes, and it needs recovered. $80.00 plus shipping

Pilot
 Belt stock honda $65.00.

you will need to get another carb boot,  the stocker is way to small.  It'll end up splitting in a reative short while if you do manage to shoehorn it in.  The last intake bot i got was from my local honda dealer, they in turn ordered it from mikuni.  I'll rumage around and see if I can find the part number off the boot.
