« on: September 08, 2004, 09:36:34 PM »
The right side of the tranny is leaking in my pilot,I assume it is the oil seal. What do I need to change it?I heard that I don't have to split the tranny, but that on-line manual doesn't show to much, does anyone have any pics?Any info would be great, thanks

I used a sharp, fine-threaded drywall screw to get mine out. Just screw into the seal and pull it out with pliers. If you have problems getting through the metal part behind the outer rubber of the seal (as I did), tap through it (lightly) with a sharp punch in order to start the hole, then screw into it with the drywall screw. Remember, there's a bearing behind each seal. You don't want to damage them, so be careful.

Good luck!
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left!
