New Odyssey Owner in Indiana
« on: June 01, 2014, 07:26:10 PM »
Well about a year ago I picked up 2 FL250's for $500. Not sure of the exact model years but one has a points ignition and the other is CDI. I heard the older one fire up briefly but not the newer one. Hoping to have both running and driving eventually. I'm a Jeep guy so I'm a little under-educated on 2-strokes but they don't seem too complex. Hopefully I can figure them out.

I hope so, they seem like fun machines, and unlike my Jeep if I break one I don't have to walk to work.

So this thing is kind of a POS. Parts of the roll cage weren't bolted on, the seat wasn't bolted on, the exhaust wasn't attached to the engine, the gas tank was sitting on the axle and the engine might be full of water. Since I have two I may have to try to build one good one.
