fl350 shifter problems
« on: October 26, 2013, 12:45:41 PM »
I recently purchased an fl350 that had been sitting outside for quite a while. I removed the shift lever because it would not move. I disassembled the shift lever per the manuals instructions but the lever body will not come off the case. There is a little play between the lever body and the shaft in the center. Anyone else had this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply but I finally got it. The shift lever wouldn't pull up. I removed the upper lever arm from the body and it came apart. If you know of an easy way to remove the starter that would be awesome.

The easiest way is to take the engine mounts loose and tilt the engine forward... It can be done with the engine in place, but it's not easy...
