please help identify
« on: January 08, 2013, 03:03:11 PM »
i picked up a running driving "honda" for 150.00$ with a 290cc snowmobile motor in, the reason i say "honda" is it seems to have all honda running gear like the "FL" series did. i have since ripped everything apart to start construction on this thing, im just hoping one of you guys can help me figure out what this thing is, heres a few pics, the raw steel is what ive added so far, and i have a brand new never ran chaparral 440cc from 1974 going into it for a motor.  ;D

It is based on an FL250. It is an aftermarket chassis, maybe a Pro-ATV.

That's a piece of FL racing history. It was the car in it's day. Looks straight, how much?
The usual 'my two cents' disclaimer applies. :)

1000 obo. ive done quite a bit since i picked it up. frame is straight, no rust. 400 ex hubs front and rear, 400ex front a arms, ltz400 shocks up front, i have a fl350 motor that just needs  a piston to go with it, as well as the full wiring harness ( cdi, coil, starter) extra a arms, a polaris rzr seat, a 290 cc snowmobile motor, belts, been lengthened  10", sits about 51" wide.
