The one is an aftermarket cage, Pro ATV maybe. The other just has bars welded to the original hoop. I don't know the year cut over, but the ones with just a hoop are older.

The Odyssey in the second pic is a '77-'79 model.

I would like to know more about the history of the Odyssey in the first pic.
It is not a simple "bolt-on" type cage and doesnt retain much of the original frame design.

Both would be fun projects.

Im not up on all the different Challenger upgrades.

Here is a pic of the Challenger you typically see.
I will restore one to new condition as soon as I find one in this shape.

Idk what you meant really with you question, but this is the general Odyssey FL250 section.

I knew I had seen these online before:

I'm glad you got them home. Let the fun begin.

Congrats on the buy!

The aftermarket cage... I dunno who made it. I know back in the 80's they used to race these things and there were a few people making cages for them. I have seen that design before, but don't know who built it. There are also a lot of people who have built different cages on their own over the years, such as the case of your other one. I don't really care for the way they did that cage, but that's a personal opinion. It IS better than the original 77-79 rollbar tho. Definitely safer, if it was done right.

If you want to know what year models you actually have, there is a sheet that lists all of the numbers from the different years, including engine numbers. Just ask, and I or someone else can get you the link to it....
