gas mileage issues
« on: August 26, 2012, 05:47:16 PM »
Does anyone have any tips on increasing fuel efficiency on a six year old honda civic? I recently went from getting 25-28 mpg down to 11 mpgs. I live in the city, so I know that that is to be expected, but 11 mpgs is rough!!! Any suggestions could help!

That's a huge jump...Are you sure someone isn't dropping a hose in your tank at night?  How is the car running?  Have you noticed any performance change?
You only need two tools in life -- WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Hoser [həʊzə] n 1. US slang a person who swindles or deceives others 2. Canadian slang an unsophisticated, esp rural, person

It is likely a SPAM post since there was a link in it. I deleted the link, but left the post in case it was legit. I debated deleting altogether since it's not related to the forum anyway.
