This must be Superkarts chinese copy of RPM's box....Heard from others it's a total piece of crap....Might do fine on a low hp industrial engine,but I wouldn't trust it on much more than that....

I find it interesting that is states 170 HP and the fact the break( shift gear stop) can not be used for breaking. I wonder if it's due to the type of caliper. If the gears are rated at 170 and the output shaft is tied to the gear pack then why not. It would be cool to see how much shock load it takes to tear it up.  When looking them over I found them from 900 to 1500 for the box. They do make them look as they would hold up. As a rule Chinese equals non reliably in the mini buggy stuff. I did find a company near Dallas that sells them. I will be heading down that way in march and stop in and take a look first hand out of curiosity.
