« on: March 22, 2006, 01:48:14 PM »
I'm going to need a new pipe for this pilot the one i have is on its last thread.
what are my options and is my larger bore going to require me to get a different pipe? will the power pros set up work for me?

Is this the bored out 400 to 500 cylinder setup?

The 500 pipe will not fit your setup without modifying it, a 400 pipe will fit but not offer the performance of the 500 pipe (as it was designed for the 500cc displacement).

I have a repaired  Power Pros Torque pipe for a 400 if you're interested in that. I'm going to be removing the Power Pros pipes from the store I think, they've been hard to deal with, don't care for the small fy guy like me I guess

Actually I have a plain steel torque pipe I'd sell as well, I believe it's in fine shape.

What was done for it??? Not sure what you're asking..the CR500 conversion that ATV Racing does has a speical 500 pipe for it as the CR500 jug relocates the exhaust flange compared to the 400 jug. So I had the 500 pipe.

that's what i was asking..i cant use a pipe from a 500 conversion...
how bad is it going to mess me up if i use a 400 pipe and silencer?
how hard is it to repair a pipe??? there are 2 pretty serious holes in mine about 3 inches long and a 32-16th wide and 2 more smaller pin holes by the spring hooks. and its pretty rusty...the silencer elbow just cracked off at the flange to the pipe and off the silencer looks like its been welded about 80 times.

what are my options here?
