You didn't say what you have, but your id says probably 350.
Assuming you ordered a 94c to specifically fit the 350, the bolt that comes with the clutch fits the crank, but will not fit others (snowmobiles, 250s, 400s, etc).

Who did you order the clutch from?

I'm pretty sure the manual is correct ... 12 x 1.25

I got the clutch from sanddunerider-I have had 3 of therm from him and the bolts always fit,and yes it is for a 350,I checked the threads in the shaft there 12 x 1.25 so I'll just get another bolt thats the same size and use that, this is a good example for people that what comes with suff you buy may not fit your application. It is the long bolt to hold the driven clutch onto the crankshaft, not the smaller bolt thanks for the replies.

I have never used a 94C, only the 102C, but just picked up a couple since people ask for them. I opened both boxes and they had a 1/2" bolt. If they used to come with a 12mm bolt, then Comet is screwing them up. I don't plan to bother trying to get this fixed through Comet for these two because it would probably take weeks. I will just buy a couple bolts to ship with these. Who you bought the clutch through can either call Comet or get you a bolt.

I sold the clutch through eBay and corrected for the buyer. I did not find locally and got them shipped next day.

Your seller should do the same.

I, after looking for a new bolt today for 3 hrs cause the state I live in stinks, decided to rethread the 1/2 bolt to 1.25 threads, it worked well and goes into the shaft perfectly, cost me 50.00 bucks in gas but what ya gonna do?Have you ever done this beofre Livewire and if so did you experience any problems with the mod of the threads?

The biggest rearon I did not do that is the cost of the die. When considering that, I was also going to use a longer bolt and cut off the original threads. The 1/2" one is not that much larger than 12mm so I would think some of your threads are now a little thin.

I would definetly keep an eye on it and have the clutched marked so you know that it isnt moving for sure.did you locktite the threads on the bolt ?
