Title: Front Trailing Arm Bushing and Seal Set
Post by: rdc500 on February 06, 2012, 10:24:17 PM
Does anybody have specs on the front bushings and seals.  After shock has them but at $200.00 I will try matching them up or maybe someone here has matched them up.  Perhaps silicone bushings would last longer. What are your thoughts.
Thanks
Ron

Scilicone will not last...The actual bushing is made of metal...The only thing that is soft material is the seal for the bushing...I had some machined locally a few years ago,and spent more than $200 to have it done....You probably will too unless you have a real close friend with a machine shop....Also,keep in mind that the j-arms sometimes wear as well, and even with new bushings, you may still have a little play in the front end....The only option there is to have them built up and re-machined down....
