Fuel system
« on: January 26, 2017, 05:37:36 PM »
I have all the fuel lines hooked up correctly but fuel won't go to the carb. It's just going straight back to the tank. Why won't it go to the carb?

If your fuel system with a t shaped plastic piece, like 350s and 400s, made to divert extra fuel back to the fuel tank, it can go bad and stop fuel from reaching the carb.

Does it have the check valve in it, or is it a plain t?

If the fuel is moving, it means your pulse line to the fuel pump is working...

The fuel flows really well to the t but then it has a steady flow back to the tank and  just a little drips over to the carb. Checked to make sure the t was the right way and it is.

Just because its new doesn't mean its working properly, every now and again a faulty part gets out of the plant, they are cheap enough try another one.

I'd try hooking it up wrong as a test.
