The best would be a Comet 102C with a Heel Clicker kit in it. Finding a 102C is hard since they went out of business. What clutch do you have now? Stock?

We (Aftershock) can still get many parts for the 102C and will eventually be able to get complete clutches again. We also stock the Heel Clicker kits.

The Heel Clicker arms are an L shape with a chunk of weight outside the roller called the shoulder. This puts the center of mass of the arm farther away from the engine side of clutch and have more effect at low speeds. In Olav Aaen's clutch tuning handbook, often referred to as the clutch tuner's bible, it states a rule of thumb backed by a mathematical formula. More weight and more spring load still tuned for the same RPM will keep the RPM of the engine within a narrower window around that tuned RPM. The Heel Clicker kit also comes with high pre-load springs which provide higher spring load during the initial movement of the clutch. So with higher spring load and higher effective shift force from the cam arms at engagement and low speeds, the Heel Clicker kit will do a better job of keeping the engine at optimal RPM during take off. On my own machine, I have them set with a much lower engagement than the 102C out of the box calibration yet accelerate faster. I gained 2 lengths in a 300 foot drag race with my FL350 over the Comet calibration.

I texted Ruby to add it to the site. I seem to always quote several year old prices.
